A 19th century dove-tailed candle box with a chamfered edge slide lid and carved out finger notch. Square cut nails around base. Made of ash or butternut wood. Old finish; as found condition. A very nice candle box.
Measures 14 inches long, 4 1/4 inches high, and 4 3/4 inches wide.
